Supporting the Terrence Higgins Trust
We began supporting the Terrence Higgins Trust back in 2013 when we printed some beautiful invitations for the Friends Gala Dinner, hosted by President of Friends for Life, Stephen Fry. We wanted to help again the following year for the same event, this time recreating the effect of a stained glass window.
As always we had a great experience working with the Terrence Higgins team and were more than happy to assist again with their most recent event, the 2015 Auction. The running theme for the prints was the fantastic swirling, almost river like design, which was to be incorporated across all the pieces. We took the same approach as previous projects and used the most suitable processes to give the finished items the biggest impact. The main ambition with these projects, of course, is to inspire as many people as possible to attend (and hopefully to donate!)
Additional items we produced for the events were admittance cards, auction catalogues, thankyou cards and envelopes. One of the stand out features from this set was the bespoke half lining which we applied to the envelopes, helping to ensure that the lasting impression was as effective as the first.
The night itself was fantastic. It was held at Christies, one of the worlds largest and most prestigious auction houses, and there was a real buzz, with a brilliant feeling of people banding together to support an incredibly worth while cause. Some of the stand out pieces included a striking neon piece of artwork by Tracy Emin entitled Be Brave, a Linda McCartney original photograph of The Beatles on Abbey Road and a wonderful Grayson Perry CBE piece that was made specifically for the night.
We are very proud to support the Terrence Higgins Trust, the charity does such wonderful work in supporting those living with HIV and we’re happy to say that we are already working on the next special event.
