FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®) is an international, not-for-profit organisation set up in 1993 to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. For over 25 years the FSC has been working hard to ensure that the world’s forests are managed in an environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable manner.
The FSC standard for ‘Chain of Custody’ ensures that wood from an FSC certified forest is accounted for as it passes along the supply chain, until it reaches the end user (consumer).
